The Academy’s working group, with field visits to the regions, continues to implement comprehensive measures to study the criminogenic situation in mahallas. The latest activities in this direction were carried out in the mahallas of Pillakashlik, Jambul, Paxtazor, and Oltindala of Kashkadarya region.
Specialists conducted a comprehensive analysis of the causes and factors influencing the criminogenic situation in the mahallas, the conditions contributing to the commission of crimes, as well as social and household problems. They also examined the level of effectiveness of the preventive work being carried out.
Based on the results, taking into account the characteristics of each mahalla and the specific district, scientifically grounded proposals and recommendations were developed for creating a safe environment and the early prevention of crime.
This activity is being carried out within the framework of the implementation of the Resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 3, 2025, No. PP–1 “On measures to further improve the effectiveness of the system for creating a safe environment and timely prevention of offenses in the mahallas of the Republic in 2025” and dated August 18, 2025, No. PP–253 “On amendments and additions to certain resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at further increasing the effectiveness of the system of early crime prevention in mahallas”.
