The Chairperson of the European Network of Ombudsmen for the Rights of the Child (ENOC), Children's Ombudsman of Finland Elina Pekkarinen, Deputy Children's Ombudsman of Norway Ivar Stokkerayt, Children's Ombudsman of Croatia Helenka Pirnat Dragichevich, as well as the OSCE Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan Antti Karttunen and representatives of the UNICEF Office in Uzbekistan visited the Law Enforcement Academy.During the visit, the guests familiarized themselves with the main areas of the Academy's activities, the system of training, retraining, and advanced training of employees of the prosecutor's office and investigative bodies.

They also received information about the innovative educational infrastructure aimed at developing practical skills, technologies and methods used in the educational process.

The activities of the Research Institute of Digital Forensics of the Academy in the field of combating violence against minors on the Internet aroused special interest among the guests. Specialists of the Academy demonstrated special tools of digital forensics for detecting and preventing the spread of child pornography in virtual space.

During the meeting, the parties discussed promising areas of cooperation and exchanged views on issues of enhancing the potential of employees of the prosecutor's office.
