The Law Enforcement Academy continues systematic work on studying the criminogenic situation in mahallas based on scientific approaches.
A working group headed by the Deputy Head of the Academy, Sh.B. Mustafayev, conducted a study in the "Taraqqiyot" and "Mirzo Ulugbek" mahallas of the city of Angren, Tashkent region, where, with the participation of responsible employees and mahalla activists, issues of timely detection and prevention of offenses and crimes were considered.
Specialists analyzed crimes committed in the mahalla for five years, studied in detail the causes of offenses, measures to prevent them, and the processes of working with persons registered for preventive measures. Based on the monitoring results, proposals and recommendations were made to improve the criminogenic situation, increase the effectiveness of preventive work, and ensure public safety in the mahalla.
Also, conversations were held with each member of the mahalla "seven" regarding crimes committed in the "Yoshlik," "Yangi Gushsoy," and "Ozodlik" mahallas of the city of Angren, Tashkent region, and their opinions and comments on crime prevention were heard, and targeted proposals were made to prevent crimes in the mahalla territory and improve the legal culture of the population.
The above-mentioned activities were carried out by the working group of the Academy within the framework of the implementation of the tasks defined in the resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 3, 2025 No. PP-1 "On Measures to Create a Safe Environment and Further Increase the Effectiveness of the System of Early Crime Prevention in Mahallas of the Republic" and dated August 18, 2025 No. PP-253 "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aimed at Further Increasing the Effectiveness of the System of Early Crime Prevention in Mahallas."
