Meeting of European Union experts with undergraduate students of the Academy


An open meeting was held at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan with international trainers and experts of the European Union project “Fight against organized crime and terrorism” (EU-ACT)  Éric Béranger and Jaouhar Boudrig who met with undergraduate students of the Academy.
The meeting was a continuation of regional training sessions on the topic “Before the crisis: ensuring security in public places, which had previously taken place at the Academy with the participation of representatives from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.

The event was organized in a live dialogue format. The experts shared their international experience in ensuring public safety and combating terrorism. In particular, Éric Béranger spoke in detail about terrorist attacks in France and the experience of French special services in investigating such crimes, their powers, and practical methods of evidence collection.

Students received comprehensive answers to questions concerning risk assessment in public places, organization of investigative actions, and ensuring effective investigations. For future investigators, the meeting became a valuable opportunity to become directly acquainted with international standards and practices.

Such international cooperation initiatives, regularly implemented by the Academy, contribute to strengthening the professional training of young specialists and developing practical skills that meet modern challenges.
