In September of this year, a working group of the Academy conducted a study in the mahallas of Almalyk city - “Alisher Navoi”, “Sofi Olloyor”, “Temur Malik”, “Zarbulok”, “Uvaysiy” and the mahallas of Angren city - “Navbahor”, “Yoshlik”, “Ulugbek”, “Taraqqiyot”. The study focused on the early detection and prevention of offenses based on a scientific approach.
The group analyzed the causes of offenses in these mahallas, the socio-economic factors contributing to them, and the effectiveness of current preventive measures. Based on the results, scientifically grounded proposals and recommendations were developed for the early prevention of crime, taking into account the specific characteristics of each mahalla.
These proposals and recommendations were summarized and submitted to the responsible authorities for inclusion in future roadmaps aimed at improving the criminogenic situation.
This activity will continue systematically within the framework of the implementation of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. RP–1 dated January 3, 2025, “On measures to create a safe environment and further improve the effectiveness of the early crime prevention system in the mahallas of the Republic in 2025” and Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. RP-253 dated August 18, 2025, “On amendments and additions to certain decisions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at further improving the effectiveness of the system for the early prevention of crime in neighborhoods”.
