Participation in the scientific seminar of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation

Employees of the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan took part in the meeting of the I.I. Karpes Scientific Association "Criminology," organized at the Prosecutor's Office University of the Russian Federation. The topic of the seminar was also devoted to topical issues of combating the crime of foreign citizens and stateless persons, as well as the problems of illegal migration.

At the seminar, the senior lecturer of the Academy, A.I. Yesemuratov, delivered a report on "Migration Issues in the Republic of Uzbekistan at the Present Stage."

The participants of the event discussed the current trends and dynamics of crime among foreign citizens, the regional features of this phenomenon, and the factors influencing the criminalization of migrants.

Special attention was also paid to the issues of the relationship between crime of foreigners and illegal migration, as well as strengthening cooperation between law enforcement agencies in this area.
