A round table discussion was held on the topic "Combating ignorance with enlightenment."

A round table on the topic "Combating ignorance with enlightenment" was organized at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Committee for Religious Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by I.I. Marupov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Committee on Religious Affairs on Information Policy Issues, as well as the leadership, staff, and students of the Academy.

During the "round table," the negative consequences of ignorance and religious extremism, issues of strengthening ideological immunity in the minds of young people, and the upbringing of a healthy worldview and a spiritually mature personality were discussed.

In his report, the expert spoke about the role of enlightenment in the development of society, modern methods of protecting young people from alien ideas, and the importance of disseminating accurate and reliable information about the religious sphere in the information space.

At the end of the event, the participants exchanged views and experience, and also put forward practical proposals for the wide promotion of educational ideas in society.
