Japan Culture Day was held at the Law Enforcement Academy.


The Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized Japan Culture Day in order to broaden the horizons of students, increase respect for the cultures of different peoples, and strengthen cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

The event was attended by Mr. Manabu Ono, JICA expert from Japan, head of the research group of ALMEC, Ms. Nagisa Okhata, JICA expert on youth issues, as well as the leadership of the Academy and students.

Mr. Manabu Ono gave the participants interesting information about Japanese culture and traditions, talked about national holidays, rules of etiquette, and features of the education system. Students joined with great interest in the information about Japan and received answers to their questions.

At the end of the event, a quiz on Japanese culture was held, and students who correctly answered the questions were awarded commemorative gifts by Japanese experts.

Such events serve to strengthen the bonds of friendship between the peoples of Uzbekistan and Japan, develop cultural ties, and further expand the scope of international cooperation of the Academy.
