In recent years, under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the tourism sector has been developing dynamically and has become one of the strategically important branches of the national economy. Special attention is being given to domestic tourism, which promotes health, fosters citizens’ love for their homeland, and encourages careful preservation of natural and cultural heritage.
The staff of the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan supported this initiative by organizing an off-site event within the framework of the “Travel around Uzbekistan!” program. The employees visited the Bostanlyk district of the Tashkent region and the picturesque Paltau waterfall, spending an eventful day in the open air.
Particular attention during the trip was devoted to environmental issues. The Academy’s staff took part in a plogging activity, a combination of jogging and litter collection and also planted tree saplings, contributing to the beautification and greening of the natural area.
The event was organized in accordance with the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 15 May 2025, No. DP–87, “On measures to enhance the role and significance of tourism in the economy by substantially increasing the flow of tourists and rapidly expanding the volume of tourism services in 2025-2026”.
Such initiatives help strengthen corporate spirit, promote domestic tourism, foster ecological awareness and active citizenship among employees, and create a positive and creative atmosphere within the Academy’s community.
