The Law Enforcement Academy was visited by the Dean of the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) in Vienna, Doctor of Law (PhD) Slagyana Taseva (Slagjana Taseva). Within the framework of the V Tashkent Anti-Corruption Forum.
Slagyana Taseva is a leading expert in the field of anti-corruption policy and criminal law, Doctor of Law, founder and first chairman of Transparency International Macedonia, as well as the former chairman of the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption of the Republic of North Macedonia.
During the visit, Ms. Taseva gave a lecture to the Academy's master's students.
In his report, he shared international experience in developing and implementing anti-corruption strategies and emphasized the importance of academic and interdepartmental cooperation in strengthening transparency and accountability institutions.
The Academy's students actively participated in the discussions, asking the expert questions about modern challenges in preventing corruption.
Also, within the framework of the visit, at a meeting between a representative of the International Anti-Corruption Academy and the leadership of the Academy, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the field of scientific research, personnel training, and exchange of best practices in anti-corruption education.
