Seminar on the topic: "Current Cyber Threats and Factors Causing Cybercrimes"

Today, information security and cyber threats are becoming increasingly relevant. Cyberattacks can lead to a number of serious consequences, such as financial losses and the seizure of personal data. In this regard, it is advisable to conduct regular awareness-raising work among civil servants and the population.

Accordingly, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 30 of this year No. PP-153 "On Measures Aimed at Further Strengthening Activities to Combat Crimes Committed with the Help of Information Technologies," an annual comprehensive propaganda program aimed at improving the cyberculture of the population and forming cyber hygiene was approved, according to which November was declared the Month of Enhancing Cyberculture.

The Research Institute of Digital Forensics of the Law Enforcement Academy organized a training seminar at the private joint-stock bank "Trastbank" on the eve of the Month of Enhancing Cyberculture.

At the event, explanations were given on the factors contributing to the commission of cybercrimes and effective methods of ensuring information security in commercial banks, as well as necessary recommendations to prevent bank employees from becoming victims of the crime themselves.
