A scientific and practical conference on the topic "Prevention and Elimination of the Negative Consequences of Domestic Violence" was held at the Law Enforcement Academy. The event was attended by representatives of internal affairs bodies, higher educational institutions of the legal sphere, research institutes and the healthcare system, as well as employees of the Academy and master's students.

The main goal of organizing this conference is a deep analysis of the legal, social, and psychological aspects of domestic violence, as well as discussion of mechanisms for their prevention.

Also, proposals and recommendations were developed to identify the causes of crimes and suicides committed by women as a result of violence, the factors contributing to them, and to eliminate them.

The conference was attended by employees of the Prosecutor General's Office, the Academy of Internal Affairs, the Tashkent State University of Law, specialists of the Institute for Family and Gender Studies, and suicidologists of the Ministry of Health. During the dialogue, the criminological and victimological aspects of domestic violence, the analysis of crimes committed by women as a result of violence, the prevention of deaths among women, problems in judicial and investigative practice on crimes of domestic violence, as well as the prevention of suicides and issues of national and international experience were discussed in detail.

Today, domestic violence is one of the pressing problems affecting the stability of not only an individual family, but also society as a whole. Therefore, such scientific and practical events are important not only for analyzing problems, but also for establishing effective cooperation in their elimination.

The proposals and recommendations put forward by the participants at the end of the conference are expected to be a practical step towards strengthening family stability, protecting human rights, and ensuring social justice.
