Practical firearms training was conducted at the Law enforcement academy with the participation of a National guard specialist.
At the Law enforcement academy, practical, skill-focused training sessions are regularly organized to enhance students’ professional knowledge and qualifications, strengthen their physical fitness, and ensure thorough preparation for their future service.
Within this framework, practical lessons in the subject of “Firearms training” were conducted under the “Military and physical training” module.
The sessions were attended by lieutenant colonel I. Umurzaqov from the Tashkent regional training centre of the National guard, who provided students with both theoretical and practical knowledge on organizing and conducting firing exercises.
Students became acquainted with the objectives, content, stages, types, and methods of shooting within the topic “Rules for the use of firearms”. They also acquired practical skills for conducting shooting under simple and complex conditions while adhering to safety regulations.
Special attention was given to the technical and psychological aspects of the shooting process. Explanations were reinforced with practical examples, and students’ questions were answered in detail.
These practical sessions contributed to further improving students’ professional readiness, strengthening their physical endurance, and fostering collaboration with the Academy’s operational units.
Such training is aimed at developing practical skills essential for future law enforcement activities and preparing students to become competent, responsible, and service-ready specialists.
