The Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan was visited by a delegation of the European Union Project to Combat Organized Crime and Terrorism in Central Asia (EU-ACT) headed by its Director, Maria Sanchez Gil-Sepada.
During the visit, members of the delegation familiarized themselves with the structure, educational, scientific-analytical, and methodological activities of the Academy, as well as the system of training, retraining, and advanced training of employees of the prosecutor's office and investigative bodies.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the results of joint initiatives being implemented, and also outlined further plans to expand projects aimed at strengthening the professional potential of prosecutorial and investigative personnel.
During the visit, the guests congratulated the Academy staff on the three-year anniversary of its establishment and wished for the successful holding of the upcoming international conference.
Following the visit, the parties confirmed their readiness to further expand cooperation in the scientific and educational sphere and implement new initiatives.
