Law Enforcement Academy, together with the Youth Parliament under the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, organized a Republican practical seminar on the topic "Youth - Leaders of the Anti-Corruption Movement."
The event was held in a mixed format with the participation of officials from the Academy, the Youth Parliament, the Youth Affairs Agency, and the Anti-Corruption Agency, with the involvement of activists from the "No to Corruption" campaign. In total, about 400 young people took part in the seminar.
During the conference, young people were provided with the necessary theoretical and practical information on the essence of corruption and its negative consequences, the foundations of national and international legislation, the powers of state bodies, the integration of youth initiatives into state programs, and ensuring the active participation of youth in the fight against corruption.
In order to ensure the continuous and systematic implementation of work in this direction, it is planned to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Youth Parliament and the Academy within the framework of the international scientific and practical conference "Ensuring the Rule of Law in the Context of Modern Challenges: Problems and Solutions," which will be held at the Academy on November 27-28 of this year.
The memorandum provides for the broad involvement of young people in the processes of combating and preventing corruption, educating them in the spirit of honesty and respect for the law, improving legislation aimed at forming a culture of intolerance to corruption, conducting system analysis and research, and combining the potential of the Law Enforcement Academy and the Youth Parliament to develop practical proposals based on them.
The event was held within the framework of the academic decade dedicated to the third anniversary of the establishment of the Law Enforcement Academy.
The Decade program includes international, scientific, practical, and educational events aimed at strengthening the rule of law, developing the professional competencies of law enforcement officers, combating modern threats, and expanding international cooperation.
