The work of the international scientific and practical conference "Ensuring the Rule of Law in the Context of Modern Threats: Problems and Solutions" was continued at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan within the framework of a parallel session "Law Enforcement Activities in Cyberspace: Threats and Solutions."
The session became an important dialogue platform that brought together national and foreign experts to exchange views on the processes of digital transformation and their impact on ensuring legality and security.
The session was attended by leading international and foreign experts in the field of cybercrime and digital criminalistics from Ireland, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Spain, Estonia, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Tajikistan, and the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as OSCE specialists. Experts from the National Security Council under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Institute of Legislation and Legal Policy, the Prosecutor General's Office, the Central Bank, and other agencies also presented their reports.
Within the framework of the event, topical issues such as ensuring the rule of law in the context of digital transformation, the use of OSINT methods in the investigation of criminal cases, combating terrorist activities on social networks, the peculiarities of crime scene surveillance using digital technologies, the growth of cyber threats in the modern digital space, the use of neural networks in law enforcement practice, working with electronic evidence, and training personnel in the field of cybersecurity were discussed.
Representatives of the Tashkent State University of Law, the University of Public Security, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Security Service, and other agencies, faculty, students, and students of the Academy also participated in the discussions.
At the end of the session, as a result of a comprehensive exchange of views and a dialogue based on best practices, the main problems and trends in the development of the industry were identified. Practical proposals and recommendations aimed at increasing the effectiveness of the fight against cybercrime, as well as ensuring the rule of law in the context of rapidly developing digital technologies, have been developed.
