The Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan systematically carries out comprehensive preventive work aimed at protecting the health of young people, raising their legal culture, and forming an intolerant attitude towards drugs and related crimes. In this direction, a thematic round table was held with the participation of first-year students of the Academy, dedicated to the prevention of drug use and related risks.

The event was attended by the leadership of the Department for Work with Youth, Spirituality and Enlightenment and the Department of Personal Security, the prevention inspector assigned to the Academy, as well as the senior inspector of the group for combating juvenile and youth crime of the Yunusabad District Department of Internal Affairs, G.Z.Zarimova.

During the round table, detailed information was provided on the negative consequences of drug use, methods of involving young people in illicit trafficking, modern preventive mechanisms, as well as the role of educational institutions in prevention.

Special attention was paid to the issues of increasing the legal literacy of students, developing skills to resist negative influences, and strengthening a sense of responsibility for personal and collective security.

This event became the next link in the system of continuous preventive work aimed at forming a safe and healthy educational environment at the Academy, instilling in the minds of young people the ideas of a healthy lifestyle and spiritual independence. The Academy plans to regularly hold such meetings, lectures, and trainings in the future with the involvement of industry specialists and practical staff.
