Youth and the culture of integrity: Akmal Burkhanov meets with academy students


A meeting was held at the Law enforcement academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan between students and the director of the agency for combating corruption, A. Burkhanov. The event was organized as part of a series of activities dedicated to the International anti-corruption day.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss current issues in anti-corruption policy, the role of youth in fostering a culture of integrity, and to familiarize students with modern state approaches to preventing and combating corruption offenses.

In his speech, Alisher Burkhanov elaborated on the key directions of the state policy in the field of anti-corruption, emphasizing the importance of systemic reforms aimed at increasing transparency, openness, and accountability of state institutions. He noted that strengthening the anti-corruption immunity of youth is one of the priorities for the country’s sustainable development and an essential condition for the effective functioning of government institutions.

Academy students actively participated in the discussion, asking questions about international standards in the fight against corruption, mechanisms of public oversight, the role of digitalization in reducing corruption risks, as well as opportunities for professional growth within state structures that ensure lawfulness and public order.

The meeting took place in a constructive and meaningful atmosphere, serving as an important platform for exchanging views and helping future specialists develop a deep understanding of the principles of integrity, professional ethics, and legal responsibility.
