Roundtable dedicated to the International anti-corruption day

The Law Enforcement Academy, in cooperation with the Regional Office of the United Nations Office on drugs and crime (UNODC) and the Anti-Corruption Agency, organized a roundtable on the topic: "Joint anti-corruption efforts within the GRACE initiative: research, education, and youth empowerment", dedicated to the International anti-corruption day.

The roundtable brought together representatives of the Academy, UNODC, the Anti-Corruption Agency, the Youth Parliament, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, as well as students, master’s degree trainees, and doctoral candidates of the Academy.

During the event, participants discussed the global tools of the UNODC GRACE initiative aimed at anti-corruption education, youth engagement, and research development; expanding efforts in developing academic research in the field of anti-corruption; increasing youth involvement in anti-corruption activities; and actively using the capabilities of the Virtual Anti-Corruption Academy.

At the conclusion of the event, participants proposed widely integrating GRACE’s tools into the Virtual anti-corruption academy electronic platform, as well as strengthening international, regional, and national cooperation in combating and preventing corruption.
