A round table dedicated to the occasion of International Anti-Corruption Day was held.


The Law Enforcement Academy, in cooperation with the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Regional Office and the Anti-Corruption Agency, organized a roundtable discussion on "Joint anti-corruption efforts within the framework of the GRACE initiative: research, education and empowerment of youth" on the occasion of International Anti-Corruption Day.

The round table was attended by responsible employees of the Academy, UNODC, the Anti-Corruption Agency, the Youth Parliament, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, students of the Academy, master's students and doctoral students.

During the event, the participants discussed such issues as UN Office on Drugs and Crime's anti-corruption education, global tools of the GRACE initiative for youth engagement and research, expanding efforts to expand research in the field of anti-corruption, expanding youth participation in the fight against corruption, and wider use of the capabilities of the virtual anti-corruption academy.

At the conclusion of the event, all participants put forward proposals for the widespread implementation of GRACE capabilities on the electronic platform of the Virtual Academy for Combating Corruption, combining international, regional, and national efforts in combating and preventing corruption.
