Legal Culture and Integrity: The Academy Strengthens Anti-Corruption Education

In connection with International Anti-Corruption Day, the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan is conducting educational events aimed at forming an anti-corruption culture in government bodies and other organizations, increasing legal awareness and legal knowledge, as well as strengthening the principles of honesty and integrity.

Within the framework of this initiative, the Academy organized a practical seminar for employees of the joint-stock company "UZLITINEFTGAZ" on the topic "Together we will fight corruption."

During the event, a representative of the Academy's Anti-Corruption Scientific and Educational Center informed the participants in detail about the main provisions of the UN Convention against Corruption, national anti-corruption legislation, issues of corporate discipline and service ethics, and measures to prevent and eliminate conflicts of interest.

Special attention was also paid to advanced approaches and effective practices to ensure transparency, openness, and accountability at the workplace, and the issues of applying the principles of absolute intolerance to corruption in daily service activities were emphasized.

The practical seminar will serve to strengthen the knowledge and practical skills of the participants in the field of combating corruption, as well as the formation and development of values of honesty.
