At the Law Enforcement Academy, within the framework of shooting training for undergraduate students, dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Defender of the Fatherland Day, a competition was held on the procedure for disassembling and assembling Makarov pistols.
Teams consisting of students of all undergraduate courses of the Academy took part in the competition. The level of preparedness of the participants was assessed by a panel of judges consisting of military personnel of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan and employees of the Academy. Accuracy and speed in performing the specified exercise were defined as the main evaluation criteria.
According to the results of the competition, the first place was taken by the team of the 2nd group of the 1st year of the educational direction "Prokuror's Activities." Second place was awarded to a group of 1st-year students studying in Russian in the field of "Prosecutorial Activities." Third place was taken by the team of the 1st year group of the educational direction "Investigative Activity."
The competition was held in an atmosphere of healthy competition and sports rivalry. The winners and prize-winners were awarded cups, diplomas, medals, and souvenirs.
It is planned to organize such events at the Academy on a permanent and systematic basis, aimed at forming practical skills in students, strengthening discipline and the spirit of collectivism.
