Accuracy, speed, victory: firearms training competition


At the Law Enforcement Academy, a competition in the partial disassembly and assembly of the Makarov pistol was held among undergraduate students as part of firearms training, dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Defenders of the Motherland Day.

Teams consisting of undergraduate students from all years of study of the Academy took part in the competition. The participants’ level of training was assessed by a panel of judges that included servicemen of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan and staff members of the Academy. The main evaluation criteria were accuracy and speed in performing the prescribed exercise.

According to the results of the competition, first place was taken by the team of Group 2 of the 1st year of study in the “Prosecutorial Activities” program. Second place was awarded to the team of the Russian-language instruction group of the 1st year in the “Prosecutorial Activities” program. Third place was taken by the team of Group 1 of the 1st year in the “Investigative Activities” program.

The competition was held in an atmosphere of healthy competition and sportsmanship. The winners and prize winners were awarded a cup, diplomas, medals, and commemorative gifts.

The Academy plans to hold similar events on a regular and systematic basis, aimed at developing practical skills, discipline, and team spirit among students.
