Prospects for cooperation with the UN in the field of education and training were discussed.

A meeting was held at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the UN Resident Coordinator in Uzbekistan, Sabine Mahl, and the Head of the Secretariat of the "Ishonch" Foundation, Jonas Astrup.

During the meeting, prospects for further development of cooperation and expansion of practical interaction in priority areas were discussed. The main attention was paid to joint projects implemented in cooperation with UN structures, including the development of the Academy's potential as an international educational hub and the professional development of national and foreign law enforcement officers.

Issues of forming sustainable educational and scientific-practical initiatives with the participation of UN structures and partner organizations were also discussed.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to further develop partnership relations and continue practical cooperation in the agreed priority areas.
