An academic dialogue for master's students was organized at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the participation of a professor of the Faculty of Law and Management of the Gdańsk University of the Republic of Poland.
Within the framework of the report, modern approaches to legal support of financial security, regulation of digital financial processes, as well as the formation of a system of cyber law and cybersecurity were consistently considered. The discussion of these topics took place in the context of the transformation of legal systems and the growing transboundary risks in the context of digitalization.
During the report, special attention was paid to the practice of EU countries in combating illegal financial transactions, ensuring the stability of financial systems, and developing legal response mechanisms to cyber threats. Issues of international cooperation in the field of cyber law, convergence of legal approaches, protection of personal data, and ensuring information security were also discussed.
The academic dialogue format allowed master's students, along with familiarization with foreign experience, to critically understand the presented legal models through discussion of problem situations and analysis of practical cases. This serves to form a comprehensive understanding of modern challenges in the field of financial and digital security and analytical thinking skills.
This event was held at the Law Enforcement Academy in accordance with the strategy for the development of international academic cooperation and created a solid substantive basis for the further expansion of joint educational and research initiatives with the University of Gdansk.
