Joint project on criminal justice was discussed

A meeting was held at the Law Enforcement Academy with a delegation consisting of representatives of the European Commission's Foreign Policy Instrument Service, the International Institute for Justice and the Rule of Law (IIJ), and the Hedayah organization, as well as representatives of the Supreme Court, the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Justice, and the Academy.

Uchrashuv davomida harbiy mojaro zonalaridan qaytgan shaxslarni jinoiy javobgarlikka tortish, reabilitatsiya qilish va jamiyatga qayta integratsiyalashga qaratilgan qo‘shma loyihani amalga oshirish masalalari muhokama qilindi. Qayd etilganidek, mazkur loyiha jinoyat odil sudlovi sohasida faoliyat yuritayotgan amaliy xodimlar salohiyatini oshirish, kasbiy ko‘nikmalarni rivojlantirish, ilg‘or xalqaro tajriba, bilim va malaka almashishga, shuningdek qonunchilik hamda huquqni qo‘llash amaliyotini takomillashtirishga xizmat qiladi. Loyihani amalga oshirish xavfsizlikni ta’minlash, adolat tamoyillarini mustahkamlash hamda inson huquqlarini himoya qilishga qaratilgani ta’kidlandi.

At the same time, a bilateral dialogue was held between representatives of the Law Enforcement Academy and the head of the project of the International Institute of Justice and the Rule of Law, K. Balthazar. Information was provided on the mandate, main areas of activity, and educational programs of the Institute of Internal Affairs.

The parties exchanged views and proposals on the formation of a roadmap for the implementation of the joint project and reached an agreement on further strengthening cooperation.
