Special advanced training courses for investigators and inquiry officers have begun.


Systematic work is consistently continuing to ensure the full implementation of the instructions given at the videoconference meeting chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on January 27 of this year to fundamentally improve the quality of investigations and ensure their transparency.

In particular, a special distance learning course was organized for investigators of the Criminal Investigation Departments of the Internal Affairs Bodies of the Almazar, Bektemir, and Sergeli districts, as well as for prevention inspectors of specialized pre-investigation checks of the Criminal Investigation Departments of the Internal Affairs Bodies of the Almazar district.

The course program covers the activities of pre-investigation checks, the procedure and timeframe for conducting pre-investigation checks; types of criminal applications, reports, and information, as well as the procedure for their consideration; issues of cooperation in pre-investigation checks; the reasons and grounds for initiating a criminal case, the procedure for refusing to initiate a criminal case, as well as urgent investigative actions in pre-investigation checks.

At the same time, in order to organize the quality of crime investigation in the district based on new approaches, a traditional advanced training course on the topic "Current Issues of Crime Qualification, Organization and Conduct of Preliminary Investigation" has been organized for investigators of the Almazar District Department of Internal Affairs.

This professional development course will be held from February to September of this year, with classes divided into two groups using interactive methods, discussions, and debates.

The course program covers the investigation of cybercrimes, digital forensics; the use of digital open data in the investigation process; procedural issues related to the appointment of an expert examination; topical issues of the investigation and qualification of crimes, as well as the methodology, tactics, and strategies for investigating certain complex types of crimes.

Also, in order to provide practical assistance to the investigators of the Almazar district, professional employees of the Law Enforcement Academy with many years of practical experience in the field of investigative activities were involved.

This working group will assist in ensuring the timely and high-quality investigation of criminal cases under the jurisdiction of the investigators of the Almazar District Department of Internal Affairs and will provide practical assistance to the investigators by regularly visiting the Investigative Department of the Department of Internal Affairs.

In addition, Academy employees conducted field training sessions for investigators, inquiry officers, and other employees of the Almazar District Department of Internal Affairs on the topics "Features of organizing pre-investigation checks and conducting relevant procedural actions in internal affairs bodies" and "Features of conducting an inspection of the scene during a pre-investigation check."

Practical assistance and advanced training courses based on a scientific approach, aimed at improving the quality of investigations, will be systematically continued.
