An Enlightenment Hour was held at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the participation of Academy staff in connection with the birthdays of the great poets and thinkers - Alisher Navoi and Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur.
The event was attended by the poetess, laureate of the Zulfiya State Prize, holder of the "Shuhrat" medal G. Askarova, and the press secretary of the Committee for Family and Women's Affairs - advisor on information policy S. Boymirzayeva.
In their speeches, the guests spoke in detail about the spiritual and educational significance of the heritage of great ancestors, its role in the formation of national identity and high moral qualities. Poetess G.Askarova, while reading excerpts from the works of Alisher Navoi and Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, also performed excerpts from her own poems. This gave the event a special spirit and inspiration.
Also, the Academy staff read poems from the poet's work and organized meaningful questions and answers. The event, held in the spirit of lively dialogue, made a great impression on the participants.
The enlightenment hour served to strengthen respect for national heritage, increase interest in literary values, and enrich the spiritual environment.
