Systematic work is consistently continuing to ensure the implementation of the tasks defined at the videoconference meeting chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on January 27 of this year to fundamentally improve the quality of investigations and ensure their transparency.
Within the framework of these tasks, the Law Enforcement Academy organized a training and practical seminar for investigators of the Prosecutor's Office of Surkhandarya region and internal affairs bodies, aimed at improving the quality of investigative activities.
During the seminar, topical issues of investigating crimes committed using information technologies, identifying digital traces of crimes, using the capabilities of digital criminalistics in conducting investigative actions, and solving and investigating cybercrimes were discussed.
Also, explanations were given on criminal-legal mechanisms against the provision and use of bank accounts for criminal purposes in the fight against cybercrime.
Special attention was paid to the tactics and strategy of using information from open sources in solving crimes in the context of modern information technologies and global digitalization.
The training and practical seminar was organized in the form of interactive methods, discussions, and questions and answers. This serves to strengthen the theoretical knowledge and improve the practical skills of the participants.
Such seminars will be held regularly in the regions, and practical assistance and professional development activities based on a scientific approach, aimed at improving the quality of investigations, will be systematically continued.
