Priority Areas Identified at the Academy for Implementing Tasks Set During the President’s Meeting with Youth


A working meeting dedicated to ensuring the systematic implementation of the tasks set during the meeting of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, with youth on February 24, 2026, at the Ko‘ksaroy residence was held at the Academy with the participation of Deputy Prosecutor General S.I. Samadov.

During the meeting, discussions focused on increasing young people’s research activity, expanding institutional support mechanisms for their initiatives, introducing innovative developments into practice, and further improving the system of training competitive specialists.

Based on the President’s instructions, priority organizational and practical measures were identified, and relevant tasks were assigned to responsible departments. In particular, the need to develop comprehensive programs to support young researchers, establish sustainable financial and organizational incentives for scientific projects, and create a favorable academic and educational environment was emphasized.

It was also highlighted that every Thursday has been declared “Youth Day.” Within this initiative, systematic support for student startups, broader engagement of young people in sports, and the creation of additional opportunities to develop the potential of student-athletes are envisaged.

At the conclusion of the meeting, S.I. Samadov stressed the importance of further strengthening an integrated system for working with youth and activating mechanisms aimed at transforming promising ideas into practical projects.

As a result of the meeting, tasks were defined to enhance students’ scientific and innovative potential, support their initiatives, and create conditions for achieving high professional results.
