Within the framework of the Week of Actions and Awareness-Building on the Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, together with the team of Tashkent ploggers, organized an environmental plogging marathon.
This environmental campaign has been consistently held for three years in partnership with the Tashkent ploggers team and has become a sustainable initiative uniting Academy students, staff, and the city community around environmental responsibility and an active civic position.
The plogging route covered the Yunusabad-9 area, including a new walkway built along the Karakamysh canal. Participants combined physical activity with household waste collection to improve the urban environment and provide practical assistance to the residents of the mahalla.
Within the framework of the event, a briefing was held for the participants, necessary equipment was provided, and collected waste was sorted. At the end, active participants were encouraged and the overall results were summarized.
Such initiatives are a practical embodiment of the Academy's consistent policy aimed at integrating the principles of sustainable development into educational and upbringing processes, forming an ecological culture, and strengthening social responsibility of future law enforcement specialists.
