Regional training and practical seminar aimed at improving the quality of investigations

Consistent work is being carried out in the system of law enforcement agencies to ensure the implementation of the tasks defined at the videoconference meeting chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on January 27 of this year to fundamentally improve the quality of investigations and ensure their transparency.

Within the framework of these tasks, the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a training and practical seminar for investigators of the Prosecutor's Office of Namangan region and internal affairs bodies, aimed at improving the quality of investigative activities.

During the seminar, topical issues of investigating crimes committed using information technologies, identifying digital traces of crimes, using the capabilities of digital forensics in conducting investigative actions, as well as solving and investigating cybercrimes were discussed.

Also, participants were given explanations on criminal-legal mechanisms against the provision and use of bank accounts for criminal purposes in the fight against cybercrime.

Special attention was paid to the tactics and strategy of using information from open sources in solving crimes in the context of modern information technologies and global digitalization.

The training and practical seminar was organized in the form of interactive methods, discussions, and questions and answers, which served to strengthen the theoretical knowledge and further improve the practical skills of the participants.

Such events will be regularly organized in the regions, and work on methodological assistance and advanced training based on scientific and practical approaches aimed at improving the quality of investigative activities will be consistently continued.
