Within the framework of the weekly educational hour held at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, an event dedicated to ensuring cybersecurity and preventing modern cyber threats was organized.
At the event, a qualified specialist of the SUE "Cybersecurity Center" delivered a report on the topic "Current problems of cybersecurity and measures for their prevention."
During the lecture, modern threats in the digital environment were analyzed, in particular, the mechanisms of phishing attacks and methods aimed at deceiving users. Detailed information was also provided on the types of malicious software (malware) and their mechanisms of influence on information systems.
The participants were explained practical methods of data protection, such as the use of strong passwords and the implementation of two-stage authentication. At the same time, special attention was paid to the rules of cyber hygiene aimed at safe activities in the information space.
This event served to increase the awareness of participants about modern cyber threats and the formation of skills for the safe use of digital technologies.
