The Nizhny Novgorod Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation held an international scientific research competition on the topic "Activities of Internal Affairs Bodies in Ensuring National Security in the Russian Federation and the CIS Member States."
The competition was attended by scientific and pedagogical staff of educational and scientific institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, as well as representatives of law enforcement agencies of the CIS member states.
The competition is aimed at increasing the theoretical and methodological level of scientific developments, popularizing research results, stimulating scientific activity, and strengthening international scientific cooperation.
According to the results of the competition, in the nomination "Legal Support of National Security of the Individual, Society, and State," the textbook "Use of Biometric Identification Methods in the Detection and Investigation of Crimes," prepared by the Head of the Department of the Research Institute of Digital Forensics, Doctor of Law Lyudmila Yurevna Yugay, was awarded a third-degree diploma.
Participation in such international competitions and achieving high results confirm the high level of scientific research potential of the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, serve to expand professional and scientific ties, and further strengthen the authority of the Academy in the international scientific and educational space.
