Within the framework of the traditional Enlightenment Hour at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a meeting was held with the Rector of the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan, Sh.T. Kudratkhoja.
The event was attended by the leadership of the Academy, professors and teachers, and master's students. During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the reforms being implemented in our country, the transformation of the information space, the modern tasks of journalism, as well as priority areas in the field of education and science.
The guest emphasized the issues of ensuring competitiveness in the global information environment, establishing effective communication with the public, ensuring the reliability and promptness of information, as well as combating fake news.
The meeting was held in an interactive format, and participants received detailed answers to their questions. In particular, issues of increasing media literacy among young people, ensuring information security, and forming responsible information consumption in the digital age were actively discussed.
