On April 16, 2026, the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan will host an international conference titled "Modern Approaches to Personnel Training for Law Enforcement Agencies of the Republic of Uzbekistan: Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, and Information Technologies."
As part of the event, a new two-stage mechanism for improving the qualifications of law enforcement officers will be presented. According to the document, employees who have undergone training at the Academy will subsequently undergo internships at leading foreign educational and scientific centers.
In 2026, it is planned to train 50 employees abroad, and this process will be financed by the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation.
The conference is expected to be attended by heads of law enforcement and security agencies, as well as national and foreign experts.
