Combating corruption through compliance and digital tools: The Academy has trained specialists of a new format

In connection with the introduction of a compliance and anti-corruption system in the prosecution authorities, a short-term professional development course was organized at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan for employees of private security units.

Within the framework of the training program, the students thoroughly studied the implementation of compliance management systems in the prosecution authorities based on international standards, the assessment of corruption risks, comprehensive inspections of employees (due diligence), as well as effective mechanisms for preventing corruption.

Special attention was paid to the capabilities of digital forensics and modern information technologies. In particular, issues of using OSINT tools, working with electronic databases, identifying risks based on open source analysis, and detecting corruption offenses at the early stages were considered.

To strengthen practical skills, field training sessions were organized at the Anti-Corruption Agency and the Customs Committee, where participants familiarized themselves with the practice of analyzing and managing corruption risks.

At the end of the course, the students' knowledge and skills were assessed, and they were awarded the relevant certificates.
