As part of efforts aimed at ensuring a safe environment in local communities and increasing the effectiveness of early crime prevention, the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan has organized outreach training sessions for women activists working in mahallas of the Yashnobod, Shaykhontohur, and Bektemir districts of Tashkent city.
Approximately 70 women activists are participating in the training. The main focus is on developing their modern management skills, ensuring social stability at the community level, and accelerating digital transformation processes.
The training program covers areas such as early crime prevention, social prevention, combating drug-related crimes, administrative-jurisdictional activities, applied psychology, problem-oriented sociology, digital literacy, and the development of cyber culture.
Special attention is also given to preventing domestic violence, protecting the rights of women and children, early prevention of morality-related offenses, and improving the effectiveness of working with women in difficult social situations.
During the sessions, practical skills are being developed in identifying and eliminating corruption risks in the activities of women activists, supporting the social adaptation and reintegration of women returning from migration, analyzing family and social conflicts, and identifying individuals prone to drug and psychotropic substance abuse.
In addition, particular emphasis is placed on planning activities, implementing targeted preventive measures, and establishing effective communication with the population.
At the end of the training, participants’ knowledge and skills will be assessed, and those who successfully complete the program will be awarded certificates of professional development.
These training sessions contribute to strengthening the mahalla institution, enhancing the effectiveness of preventive work, and fostering a stable social environment.
