International Dialogue on Human Rights: The Academy presented the experience of Uzbekistan

The delegation of the Law Enforcement Academy participated in a training seminar organized in Istanbul, Republic of Turkey, as part of the international human rights education program in cooperation with the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA).

The event was attended by representatives of educational institutions from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, who discussed modern approaches to human rights, international mechanisms, and the improvement of law enforcement practice.

In particular, special attention was paid to the implementation of UN human rights mechanisms, major international covenants and conventions, as well as decisions of the European Court of Human Rights.

Representatives of the Academy made presentations on the reforms being implemented in the field of human rights protection in Uzbekistan and the main tasks of prosecutorial supervision.

Following the seminar, an agreement was reached to expand international cooperation in the field of human rights, strengthen the exchange of experience, and develop joint educational and research initiatives.
