The leadership of the Department for Coordination of Internal Affairs Activities of the Yunusabad District of Tashkent held a meeting with students of the Law Enforcement Academy.
The event was organized as part of the "Youth Anti-Drug Month" and was aimed at forming immunity to drug threats among young people.
During the meeting, information was provided on the negative consequences of drug addiction and its impact on human health, social stability, and public safety. At the same time, special attention was paid to modern approaches to prevention, targeted work with risk groups, and the formation of a healthy lifestyle.
It was emphasized that in accordance with international practice, including United Nations recommendations, prevention, awareness raising, and education are priorities in the fight against drugs.
Additionally, liability measures provided by law for drug-related offenses were explained.
At the end of the event, experts provided detailed answers to students' questions, and an exchange of views took place in an open dialogue format.
