The Academy strengthens international scientific cooperation: participated in the POLCA seminar

Representatives of the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan participated in an international scientific seminar organized by Lund University (Sweden) as part of the POLCA project ("Political Economy of Legal and Public Administration Reforms in Central Asia"). This event took place in Istanbul, Republic of Turkey.

The seminar was attended by representatives of more than 30 leading higher educational institutions, think tanks, state and non-governmental organizations of Europe and Central Asia.

The main goal of the seminar was to discuss the methodological and theoretical foundations of research in the field of law and public administration, as well as to develop interaction between experts on issues of administrative reform and regional cooperation.

During the seminar, participants discussed issues such as the impact of local and global research on socio-legal systems and economic analysis, research ethics and gender issues, modern scientific models and approaches in law and public administration, ensuring public participation, combating crime and corruption, improving lawmaking and law enforcement practice, developing e-government, and the role of national institutions.

Special attention was also paid to the practical aspects of scientific activity. In particular, modern methodological approaches aimed at preparing and publishing scientific articles in prestigious international journals, as well as increasing the efficiency of research, were discussed.

Participation in this event will contribute to strengthening the Academy's international scientific cooperation, introducing advanced approaches, and effectively ensuring ongoing reforms in the field of legislation and public administration.
