The Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan is consistently expanding its system of academic publications. In accordance with established procedures, a new scientific and practical journal titled “Sociology and Law” has been officially registered with the Higher Attestation Commission.
The establishment of this journal represents a logical continuation of the Academy’s systematic efforts to advance legal science and to deepen the study of the interrelationship between law and social processes.
The new publication is aimed at providing a comprehensive analysis of legal reality in conjunction with its social dimensions. It will cover issues such as the impact of legal reforms on society, the legal culture and legal awareness of the population, public trust in state institutions, as well as the social factors of offenses and their prevention.
The journal will also extensively address relevant topics including youth, family, migration, gender equality, social justice, and the digital society.
The “Sociology and Law” journal will enrich the Academy’s system of academic publications, contribute to the development of scholarly dialogue between legal professionals and social researchers, support applied research, and promote the formation of evidence-based approaches in the field of legal policy.
The expansion of the academic publication system will further strengthen the Academy’s role as a leading center for legal science and applied research in the country.
