A meeting with Olympic and World Champions was held at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan to increase students' interest in sports, promote a healthy lifestyle, and develop physical education.
The event was attended by servicemen of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan—international boxing master, two-time Asian and World Championship medalist Captain Bektemir Melikuziev, and international taekwondo master, Universiade winner, world champion, and Asian Games medalist Senior Lieutenant Dmitry Shokin.
During the meeting, the athletes spoke about their career path in sports, their achievements, and their experience in combining service and sports. The role of sports and physical education in the life of a person, their importance in the formation of discipline and resilience was also emphasized.
The event was held in an open and friendly atmosphere, where students had the opportunity to receive direct answers to their questions.
