A traditional republican scientific-practical conference titled "Current Issues of Legal Science and Law Enforcement Practice" was held at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The conference was attended by representatives of the Tashkent State University of Law, the Academy of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the National Center for Human Rights and other national partner organizations, as well as professors and teachers of the Faculty of Law of Grodno State University named after Yanka Kupala of the Republic of Belarus, the University "Turiba" of the Republic of Latvia, young scientists and researchers.
The main goal of the event was to develop legal science, strengthen the interconnection between law enforcement practice and scientific research, and develop scientifically grounded proposals and recommendations on current issues in the field.
Within the framework of the conference, issues of developing science and innovation, financing and commercializing scientific projects, training legal personnel, improving legislation, and increasing the efficiency of law enforcement practice were discussed.
The parties also exchanged views on issues of ensuring human rights, civil and administrative litigation, labor disputes, criminal procedure, environmental protection, and the legal regulation of non-standard employment.
The event also focused on legal issues related to the introduction of artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies into law enforcement practice, anti-corruption, criminalization of crimes and modern approaches to the introduction of new institutional mechanisms.
It was noted that following the conference, scientific and practical recommendations aimed at developing legal science, improving legislation, and increasing the efficiency of law enforcement practice will be developed. It is planned to publish a collection of scientific articles based on the materials of the event.
