Within the framework of fulfilling the tasks set at the video-selector meeting chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on January 27 of this year, aimed at fundamentally improving the quality of investigations and ensuring their transparency, the Law Enforcement Academy is implementing systemic measures.
In this direction, employees of the Academy organized a training and practical seminar with the participation of investigators from the prosecutor's office and internal affairs bodies of the Navoi region.
During the seminar, special attention was paid to identifying and investigating crimes committed using information technologies, ensuring rapid information exchange in solving cybercrimes, and collecting and documenting data in a digital environment without disrupting the chain of evidence.
Important procedural and forensic aspects that must be addressed when working with electronic devices, online platforms, and digital traces were also discussed.
During the sessions, participants exchanged views on topical issues arising in practical activities and received practical recommendations for the high-quality organization of investigative actions, working with digital evidence, and effectively solving cybercrimes.
This seminar will serve to develop approaches to modern digital threats in investigative activities, strengthen the professional skills of investigators, and improve the quality of investigations.
