A Republican scientific-practical conference titled "The Role and Significance of Forensic Examinations in the Proof Process" was held at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The conference was attended by representatives of leading higher educational and scientific institutions of the country, forensic organizations, industry centers and non-governmental organizations, professors and teachers, young scientists and researchers.
The main goal of the conference was to effectively utilize the capabilities of forensic examination in the process of proof, implement modern expert achievements into law enforcement practice, and develop scientifically grounded proposals and recommendations aimed at solving current problems in the field.
Within the framework of the event, issues regarding the appointment and conduct of forensic examinations at the stages of pre-investigation check and preliminary investigation, the legal status of non-state forensic institutions, the significance of expert opinions as evidence, and current aspects of cooperation between investigative and forensic institutions were discussed.
At the end of the conference, it was planned to publish a collection of scientific articles based on the proposals and recommendations made by the participants.
