On June 11 of this year, at the invitation of the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a visit of a delegation led by the Director of the Institute of Justice of the Republic of Korea, Lee Joo-yeon, began.
The program of the first day of the visit began with a bilateral meeting of the delegation with the leadership of the Academy. During the meeting, the guests were provided with detailed information about the activities of the Academy, its organizational structure, main areas of activity, as well as modern educational and scientific-practical infrastructure.
The members of the delegation were shown the educational processes organized on the basis of the use of advanced pedagogical and information technologies and aimed at the formation of practical professional skills in students.
In addition, the guests got acquainted with the activities of the Legal Clinic, the Situation Center, the e-learning system, the Research Institute of Digital Forensics, the Virtual Anti-Corruption Academy and the Information Resource Center.
The meeting was held in a constructive and practical spirit. Representatives of the Institute of Justice of the Republic of Korea showed particular interest in the activities of the Academy, which is based on the integration of education, science, and practice.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to further expand cooperation in the field of training, retraining, and advanced training of prosecutorial personnel, as well as the exchange of experience in relevant areas of law enforcement activities.
The delegation's visit to the Academy continues. The results of the visit are expected to give a new impetus to the development of bilateral cooperation.
