Within the framework of a practical seminar held at the Syrdarya Regional Prosecutor's Office by the Research Institute of Digital Forensics of the Law Enforcement Academy, modern digital solutions and advanced forensic developments were presented.
The event was dedicated to the effective use of digital technologies in investigative activities, the implementation of modern information systems, and increasing the effectiveness of the fight against cybercrime.
During the seminar, the Institute's staff demonstrated the functional capabilities of a special complex equipped with technical digital forensics tools developed within the framework of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-229. Detailed information was provided on the practical aspects of its application in the processes of working with digital evidence, its collection, storage, and analysis.
Participants were also introduced to the technical capabilities of the "Mobile Digital Forensics Laboratory." During the demonstration, modern technologies and advanced forensic methods used in detecting crimes, strengthening and analyzing digital evidence, and solving offenses were presented.
At the event, held in the form of an open dialogue, topical issues of digitalizing investigative activities, integrating modern forensic technologies into law enforcement practice, and combating crimes committed using information and communication technologies were discussed.
Such events will serve to widely introduce the capabilities of digital forensics into practice, strengthen interagency cooperation in the field, and further increase the efficiency of investigative activities.
