A delegation consisting of representatives from the Prosecutor General's Office, the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement, and the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan participated in a roundtable discussion on "Improving the Efficiency of the Fight Against Crime" held in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The event was dedicated to the further development of practical cooperation between the prosecutor's offices of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, the discussion of effective mechanisms and best practices in combating modern forms of crime.
During the roundtable sessions, issues of identifying, returning, and managing criminal assets, monitoring their cross-border movement, utilizing financial investigation capabilities, and strengthening operational and legal cooperation with foreign jurisdictions were discussed.
Particular attention was paid to identifying and solving crimes committed using digital technologies, working with electronic evidence, accelerating information exchange, and increasing the professional potential of specialists.
An exchange of views also took place regarding the improvement of mechanisms for ensuring the execution of judicial acts and acts of other bodies, the digitalization of enforcement actions, and the effective use of modern information technologies in this direction.
The constructive dialogue held during the visit allowed for a comparative assessment of approaches used in combating modern threats, the exchange of experience, and the identification of priority areas for future cooperation.
This visit served to strengthen practical cooperation between the prosecutor's offices of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, enrich the knowledge and skills of the participants, as well as further improve law enforcement practice.
