A professional retraining course for newly appointed investigators serving in the regional divisions of the Investigation Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs was successfully completed at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Participants who successfully passed the final certification were awarded diplomas.
The training program was designed to enhance investigators' competencies in making independent procedural decisions, handling and evaluating evidence, planning and conducting investigative actions, and applying contemporary investigative methodologies and tactics in professional practice.
Throughout the course, participants strengthened their theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the application of criminal and criminal procedure legislation, the collection, verification, and assessment of evidence, the effective use of information and communication technologies, and the safeguarding of human rights and fundamental freedoms during criminal proceedings.
The training sessions were delivered by the Academy's faculty members together with experienced practitioners from other law enforcement agencies. Instruction was based on the analysis of practical case studies and procedural scenarios, enabling participants to develop applied professional competencies.
The course contributed to strengthening the participants' professional qualifications and preparing them for responsible, effective, and high-quality performance of their official duties as investigators.
