At the regular meeting of the Academic council under the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the public defense of the dissertation prepared by the Academy’s independent researcher, Akramkhon Alakhonovich Bobokhonov, for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law was held.
The dissertation entitled “Issues of Improving the Suspension and Resumption of Proceedings in Criminal Procedure” was completed within the framework of the specialty 12.00.09 – “Criminal procedure, Criminalistics, Law on operational-search activities and forensic examination”.
The research analyzes the procedural grounds, procedures, and practical challenges related to the suspension and resumption of criminal proceedings. It also develops scientifically substantiated conclusions, proposals, and recommendations aimed at improving this legal institution.
Based on the results of the dissertation defense, the members of the Academic council found the researcher worthy of being awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law.
