The Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan announces an open competition to engage a digital forensics specialist on a temporary basis for the development and implementation of research and engineering projects in the field of digital forensics.
Responsibilities
– develop and implement research and engineering projects in the field of digital forensics in accordance with assignments issued by the Academy's management;
– develop software and hardware solutions intended for the identification, documentation, seizure, preservation, recovery, and examination of digital evidence in accordance with the work schedule attached to the contract;
– prepare technical specifications, engineering and design documentation, technical descriptions, testing programmes, user manuals, and reports related to research and engineering activities;
– prepare technical specifications, engineering and design documentation, user manuals, and reports on completed work, as well as submit proposals for introducing the developed solutions into the Academy's activities.
Candidate requirements:
– possess a diploma, certificate, or other relevant documents confirming professional qualifications in the relevant field;
– have at least two years of professional experience in digital forensics, information technology, software and hardware systems, or research and engineering activities;
– have sound knowledge of computer systems, data storage devices, operating systems, network technologies, and the fundamentals of information security;
– have a good command of Uzbek and Russian. Proficiency in English will be considered an advantage.
The engagement is offered for a period of six (6) months. Depending on the Academy's operational needs and the specialist's performance, the contract may be extended or the successful candidate may subsequently be offered employment with the Academy in accordance with the established procedure.
Remuneration will be determined by mutual agreement between the parties and paid based on the results of the completed work.

initiative, responsibility, strong technical and analytical thinking skills, ability to work effectively in a team, aptitude for quickly mastering new technologies, and the ability to complete assigned tasks with high quality and within established deadlines.
Working hours:
40 hours per week based on a five-day working schedule.

Following the review of the submitted documents, shortlisted candidates may be invited to an interview with the selection committee and to undergo an assessment of their professional knowledge and practical skills.
